Youth Leadership Lab is the leadership membership for high school students who are ready to grow in confidence, in clarity, and in character, with a coach in their corner for all four years.

The Problem Worth Naming:
Most teenagers are surrounded by noise: social media, pressure, comparison, and a constant stream of opinions about who they should be and what they should do next.
What they're rarely given is space to slow down, ask real questions, and figure out who they actually are and who they want to become.
That's what Youth Leadership Lab exists to create.
What Is Youth Leadership Lab?
The Lab is a leadership membership for high school students built around one core idea: you have to learn to lead yourself before you can lead anyone else.
This isn't a class. There are no grades. No lectures. No pressure to have it all figured out.
It's a community: a place where students show up, have real conversations, grow alongside peers who are on the same journey, and leave every session a little more equipped for the road ahead.

But Really, What Is Youth Leadership Lab?
Live Leadership Sessions, Year-Round
Two focused, interactive sessions every month, 24 a year, summer included. Each one is built around a core leadership topic, with real conversations, practical tools, and a community of students growing together.
Calls are the 1st Thursday at 8 PM Central and the 3rd Sunday at 7:30 PM Central.
The Lab Debrief
After every session, the parent or trusted adult in your student's corner gets the Lab Debrief: a quick highlight of what we covered and one discussion question to keep the conversation going at home.
Student-Friendly Tools & Resources
Resources designed for the way students actually think and learn: practical, engaging, and immediately useful.
A Community That Gets It
Connection with peers who are serious about growth, because leadership development is better when you're not doing it alone.
Impact Points
Students earn Impact Points when friends join the Lab. Points can go toward Impact 168 gear and coaching, or students can donate them to the Impact Leadership Scholarship Fund so another student can access leadership too.

Questions Parents Ask
What if my student is already a sophomore, junior, or senior?
Perfect timing. Class Pass pricing is based on your student's graduating class, so you only pay for the time they have left.
What's the difference between the Lab and a cohort?
The Lab is our larger leadership community. Cohorts are smaller, more intensive groups with more direct coaching. Many students start in the Lab and add a cohort when they're ready for more.
Can a grandparent or family friend give the Class Pass as a gift?
Absolutely. It's a gift that lasts all of high school.
What if it's not a fit?
Our philosophy is simple: if you're unhappy, we'll find a way to make it right.
What about middle school?
Middle school memberships are on hold for now and returning soon.
Meet the Lab Faculty
Some of the voices your student will learn from inside the Lab:
Coach Chris - Founder, Impact 168
Chris has spent 25+ years coaching youth, young adults, and the adults who impact them. He brings warmth, honesty, and a deep belief that every student has more in them than they've yet discovered. Chris leads the Lab with the same approach he brings to every coaching relationship - meet people where they are, and help them take their next step.
Coach Danielle - Coach, Impact 168
Danielle brings 10+ years of coaching and mentoring experience and a genuine passion for developing the next generation of leaders. Her ability to connect with students - to meet them exactly where they are - makes her a natural fit for the Lab community. Students will find in Danielle a coach who listens first and leads second.
Coach Mike - Coach, Impact 168
Mike has been helping teens/youth for over two decades - with experience in the classroom, college programs, and martial arts. His desire and instinct to connect with young people where they are will bring value to all in our Lab community.
Coach G - Coach, The Art of 3
Kevin, aka Coach G, is a certified leadership coach and a recurring voice in the Lab - bringing energy, experience, and a perspective that challenges students to think differently about growth. His coach-to-coach conversations with Coach Chris are among the most honest and practical leadership content available for this age group.
Walter Finnigan - Coach, Leaf Advising
Walter is a certified leadership coach and has spent the majority of his adult life working in the field of education. He, along with Coach G & Chris, has served youth and families in their collaborative work in the Maxwell Leadership Team. When Walter is in the lab, you'll want to lean in - he's always got tremendous value to add.
The Lab faculty roster continues to grow. Students will be exposed to a variety of coaches, mentors, and leaders throughout, each bringing a unique perspective to the Discover. Dream. Do. journey.
